Surface Decontamination & Preparation
Every correction starts with a clinical-level cleaning. We remove bonded contaminants like iron particles, industrial fallout, and embedded road grime using a mechanical Clay Bar treatment. This ensures the polishing phase is working on pure paint, not trapped debris.
Machine Polishing & Defect Removal
Using a combination of rotary and dual-action polishers, we refine the clear coat to remove:
Swirl Marks & Holograms: Often caused by automated car washes or poor hand-wash techniques.
Oxidation: The “cloudy” or chalky look caused by UV damage and Lubbockâs intense sun.
Etching: Bird droppings or hard water spots that have eaten into the surface.
Localized Scratch Improvement
For deeper, isolated scratches that haven’t reached the metal or primer, we use targeted polishing techniques to round over the sharp edges of the defect. This significantly reduces the visibility of the scratch while preserving as much of your factory clear coat as possible.
Glass & Headlight Restoration
Correction isn’t just for paint. We offer mechanical Glass Polishing to remove stubborn mineral deposits and water spotting that standard glass cleaners can’t touch. Additionally, our Wet Sanding and restoration techniques can bring “foggy” or yellowed headlights back to crystal-clear transparency.
Pro Tip:
Once your paint is corrected to a mirror finish, the surface is “naked.” We always recommend following a correction with a GTECHNIQ Sealant or Ceramic Coating to lock in that clarity and protect your investment.
